Why T & FG

The T & FG Group offers excellent corporate ethics, strong financial and technological strengths along with a corporate vision and goal that makes the company a leading sourcing choice for major apparel buyers around the world.

Corporate ethics

The company is a strong supporter of Sri Lanka’s “Garments without Guilt” ethical manufacturing initiative, and will employ the same practices as it moves its operations into other countries. Ethical manufacturing includes good working conditions and pay, no child labor and maintaining good environmental practices.

Financial strengths

The company holds a strong financial position and as such, does not depend on banks for financing. Over the past ten years, its turnover increased from US$ 4.6 million to US$ 75 million, and it expects a US$ 100 million turnover this year.

Technology strengths

The company is increasing the use of technology to reduce its lead times, including Tukatech’s e-Fit software to reduce the sampling process time for fitted garments. It also uses an ERP system that links all of its factories.

Corporate goal

To be a global ‘own name’ brand for women’s dresses and intimate apparel, within five to ten years.
